○ My research aims to leverage everyday data and build better human-centered methods, devices, and systems to sense, model, and influence our daily behavior toward enhanced health and well-being.
Research Overview
I am actively looking for self-motivated undergraduate and graduate students on various human-AI interaction / AI for health projects. Shoot me an email if you are interested!
Drawing from human-computer interaction, ubiquitous computing, AI/ML, and health, I develop deployable behavior modeling algorithms to monitor a range of health and well-being conditions. Leveraging these models, I further design and deploy intelligent intervention & interaction techniques that help achieve health and well-being goals.
○ 2024/01: Two senior-author papers about intelligent intervention techniques, "Time2Stop" and "MindShift", have been conditionally accepted by CHI2024. Very proud of Adiba & Ruolan!
○ 2023/10: Our paper "GLOBEM" won the Distinguished Paper Award @UbiComp2023!
○ 2023/10: I am honored to receive the 2023 Distinguished Dissertation Award from UW!
○ 2023/9: I am honored to be selected as Cornell Future Faculty Symposium Scholar!
○ 2023/09: Apple Watch Series 9 supports double-tap! A glimpse of the details from our award-winning paper.
○ 2023/08: I graduated from UW and started my new journey at MIT CSAIL as a postdoc.
○ 2023/04: Our paper "XAIR: A Framework of Explainable AI in AR" won the Honorable Mention award @CHI2023!
